Fall

Fall

Meadow Stoltman

It’s Fall, Autumn if you will. The season of leaves falling, light-rain falling, falling into a routine of warmer clothes, and turning in earlier at night. Our visions are filled with reds, oranges, yellows, and browns; quite warm colors for such a chilly and cold time of year. Darkness begins seeping into our days earlier, preparing us for upcoming winter nights soon to be filled with hot cocoa and lit fireplaces. And while many spend their time planning for the 31st, browsing the web or using their own skills to make something new, others are layering up in patterned sweaters and flannels to venture through corn mazes or to pick through a pumpkin patch. Here’s your reminder, don’t forget to bring out the wonderful, warm, wool sweaters filling up your dresser drawers from last season; it’s time to put away the shorts and tank tops from your summer adventures. While you’re bundled and layered up, you’ll want to get your hands on some seasonal treats known to be “fall favorites.” Whether it be an over-popularized (but oh-so-delicious) pumpkin-spice drink or some fresh baked goods from your own kitchen, you won’t regret treating yourself. And above all else, remember to enjoy yourself and embrace Fall.
