Ohio Driver Arrested in Bracken County Crash That Killed Two Kentucky Residents on the AA Highway

Kentucky State Police say the head-on collision led to two deaths, an arrest and a $2 million bond.

Kentucky State Police say a Ford pickup struck the rear of a horse-drawn carriage in Munfordville, killing one passenger and injuring the driver.

Kentucky State Police say the California woman stepped into traffic after a separate collision and was hit by another vehicle.

Audio from the scene shows crews calling for help while treating victims after a car struck their fire engine on the shoulder of I-75.

Authorities said the collision happened in Meade County and asked motorists to stay away while the scene is investigated.

Troopers also issued thousands of citations and warnings while responding to crashes and roadside assistance calls.

The driver is accused of stealing from a storage facility and leading officers on a pursuit that reached nearly 90 mph.

The National Weather Service warned of tornadoes, hail, flooding and strong winds as storms moved across the Louisville metro and nearby counties.

Illinois State Police said two semi-trailers and a passenger vehicle were involved in the Tuesday evening wreck near Channahon.

Illinois State Police and the McLean County coroner are investigating the fatal afternoon wreck.
