Fairycakes was a fantastic play. It was a combination of fairytales and a modernized version of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” All of the actors did amazing, but I want to draw attention to the 8 people who helped the character Mustardseed come to life: Kailey Dittrich, Blake Collingbourne, Mr. Mitchell, Riley Feagan, Mrs. Hollie, Lelly Aragon Luna, Lilly Payne, and Rev Solomon. Blake and Kailey were amazing Mustardseeds but even MORE AMAZING with the FLS actors both onstage and offstage. Mr. Mitchell, Mrs. Hollie, and Riley were amazing help throughout the production. The people we should be most proud of, however, are Lelly, Lilly, and Rev. They dealt through all the late nights and energy-packed rehearsals so well. They showed how amazing they are as actors onstage for all 3 performances. They fought through tiredness, nerves, and a fire alarm going off in the middle of a performance and still did AWESOME. Also, a special thanks to every cast and crew member who joined us and hung out with our group when they weren’t on stage. Some of their best memories from the show were made with you guys. Finally, I want to say one GIANT thank you to Lilly, Lelly, and Rev’s families. You guys have supported us greatly throughout this production, and they were super proud to show you all of their hard work! We hope everyone who saw Fairycakes loved it!
