Oh, the places you’ll go! My future plans are…
I will be attending San Diego State in California, San Diego! I am majoring in marine biology and am trying out for the SDSU dance team.
My favorite memory from high school is…
Being able to perform pep rally one last time with my team. (outside, no masks, and somewhat normal after Covid)
If I could go back in time, the advice I would give my freshman self is…
You don’t need to have everything figured out right away, things will all work out as they are supposed to. Be yourself and find the people who make you feel like your best and most happiest self. Choose people who uplift you, not people who make you look more “popular.”
I’d like to thank…
I want to thank all of my teachers for being incredibly understanding and making high school so enjoyable, but I mostly want to thank Mrs. Nawracaj and Mr. Mucha for always making me laugh and for giving me something to look forward to when coming back to school each day. I’ll miss you guys!
Senior Will…
I Olivia Collins, leave motivation and courage to anyone who feels lost, out of place, and sad. Things will get better and you will find the answers you are looking for very soon.
Words of Wisdom…
Be nice. You aren’t going to like or get along with every person you meet, but being respectful and kind to others is very important, especially once you get older. Cherish the moments you have and make the best out of high school because when they say it goes by fast, you don’t realize how fast that is until you are already a senior, experiencing everything for the last time.
What I’ll remember most about senior year…
I will remember all of the relationships I have formed and how much I have grown/learned about both myself, and the world around me. I will cherish everyone I have met and became closer with this year and I now have amazing people that will hopefully be in my life forever.
