I would love to give a big thank you to:
Mrs. Carnes. The most genuine and nurturing person you will ever come across. Never failed to make me feel safe and free to express myself. Made me feel so loved and happy when those were hard feelings for me to find.
If I could go back in time, the advice I would give my freshman self is:
Don’t choose to take classes just because your friends are in them, take classes you are interested in and actually will be involved and apply yourself in!
Words of Wisdom:
Treat your teachers with respect. They’ve been in this environment WAY longer than you, don’t make things harder for them than they need to be, they have their own complex lives they’re living too!
