One of the biggest and most amazing extracurricular activities you can participate in here at South is CLS Theatre. We are nearing the start of our amazing winter musical-and this year, it is Matilda! Whether you audition for a role or join the crew and work behind the scenes, taking part in CLS Theatre is going to be one of the most fun things you will do here at South. I played a role in the fall play as one of the characters, and it was some of the most fun I have had in my life. You get to meet so many amazing people, and the directors are amazing and will always push you to do the best you can. A lot of my friends were involved in the crew, and there are a lot of things the crew can do. They can help build the set, work sound and microphones, work the light system, and various other things that make a show the best it can be. Everyone involved did amazing with the play, but now we’re going to make a musical that will knock it out of the park. I really hope you consider helping out and even joining us in the various other activities we do in CLS Theatre.
